Absinth 70 %

The name, Absinth – a herbal spirit with a slightly bitter flavour, which originated in France and Switzerland at the end of the 18th century – comes from the main herbal ingredient, Artemisa Absinthium, wormwood. This popular beverage is still prohibited in many countries. This is due to its containing thujone which, in high concentrations, acts as an aphrodisiac and causes intoxication. It gained its greatest popularity for its reputation as an aphrodisiac during the 19th and early 20th century, when it was much sought-after by the artistic community, including Hemingway, Picasso, van Gogh and others.
